Bassist Zaim is renown in the pub, indie as well as commercial music scene among bass players and musicians alike.

Performing since the late 90s & early 2k, the autodidact has taught himself how to play the bass.This allowed him to create his very own unique style and sound.

As one of the members of Curtis Blues Review, they have received many great reviews in the past and present solely due to their distinct sound, which was heavily contributed by Zaim’s bass work.

Known for his unique percussive style, Zaim has played alongside veteran Malaysian greats such as Jamal Abdilah, Nurul, Ramlah Ram,  Ahmad Loqman @ Lord Justice, Simon Justin and Jerry Felix as well as more recent faces like Ash Nair, Altimet and Faizal Tahir.

Zaim also made an appearance on Vince Chong’s video as bassist in “Percayalah Sayang”.
